Flammable liquids and gases (petrol, lighter fluid, aerosols)
Oxidising substances and organic peroxides
Toxic, poisonous and infectious substances

Corrosive substances (acids, bleach, drain cleaner)
Compressed gases in pressurised cylinders
Magnetised materials that may interfere with aircraft instruments

Illegal & Prohibited Items

Illegal drugs, controlled substances and narcotics
Counterfeit goods, pirated material and fake currency
Weapons, firearms, replica firearms, ammunition and knives
Pornographic or obscene material
Items that are prohibited by the law of the destination country
Goods subject to trade sanctions or embargoes
Items intended to defraud or deceive

Restricted — Prior Declaration Required

Currency, banknotes and coins (any denomination)
Precious metals, gemstones and jewellery exceeding £100 in value
Negotiable instruments (bearer bonds, cheques, money orders)
Credit and debit cards
High-value electronics without prior written agreement

Biological & Animal

Live animals of any species
Animal products requiring import/export permits (ivory, animal skins, feathers)
Human remains, ashes or biological specimens (without special written arrangement)
Fresh, perishable or chilled food (without prior written agreement)
Unpackaged meat or fish products

Technical & Oversize Restrictions

Standalone lithium batteries not installed in a device (unless IATA-compliant packaging agreed)
Items requiring temperature-controlled transport (pharmaceuticals, vaccines) without prior arrangement
Any single parcel exceeding 30 kg in weight
Any single parcel exceeding 120×60×60 cm in dimensions
Items that cannot be safely lifted by one person without specialist equipment
